Vancouver, British Columbia, March 17, 2025 –  Buffalo Buffalo was very excited to share their latest Fresh Tracks developer spotlight video during The Mix x Kinda Funny Spring Game showcase today.  If you missed watching it live, you can now check out the new trailer below. 

In the new video, members of the development team explain how Fresh Tracks is more than a simple music game. Game Director Patrick Owens explains the game is "... a rhythm action game, that gives you a flow state, kind of like Pistol Whip, and then it's also a narrative-based roguelite like Hades, and, it basically has a lot of replayability and lets you just keep on playing it over and over again, to discover more and more things."

Taking place in a mythical Nordic setting, Fresh Tracks invites players to strap on their skis for a non-stop music-driven adventure. As the protagonist, Skaii, players begin their journey gliding through a beautiful snow-covered forest to the beat of an ethereal pop soundtrack, an Aurora shimmering overhead. Soon, however, the path diverges, and players must fight, jump, and dodge increasing obstacles and menacing minions as they delve deeper into the darkness that has befallen the land of Norwyn. As Skaii conquers each new trail, players unlock new abilities, new divine companions, and 19+ tracks of irresistible original music.
